This past weekend I was honored to be able to host and speak with Isik Abla, isikabla.com, at the 2014 ASCEND Women’s Conference at Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena, CA. Isik is a woman called by God to help set the women of the Muslim culture and world free with God’s message of the redemption of Jesus Christ. Isik’s passion for women stems from her background as an abused, hopeless former Muslim woman and her ministry focuses on setting women free emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
As one of the valiant crusading voices for women today, her global ministry at isikabla.com reaches thousands of women daily with life changing hope. She currently has over a million followers on Facebook with daily hits averaging 3.5 million. Her program can be seen in 5 languages: Turkish, English, Farsi, Urdu, and Arabic and she has over 20,000 program views and downloads monthly encouraging, educating, and igniting women to be courageous and bold. However, she doesn’t focus on the numbers or the crowds of women, but on the individual in need. Her love reaches into the intimate and personal heart of the broken, abused, abandoned, and persecuted living in some of the loneliest and hopeless places on the earth. The hope within her is contagious and will infect you with her love of God.
Isik’s life story and miraculous journey of freedom is mesmerizing for women everywhere no matter where they are or the circumstances they are going through. “I am going in front of the camera to tell them, I know your pain. I know your anger. I have been there. I was one of you. I would have killed and died for Allah. I was abused and rejected. I failed in every area of my life. I was 28 and ready to commit suicide, Jesus revealed Himself to me in a miraculous way and changed my life. If He did it for me, He can do it for you too. You just need to surrender to Him today.”
